Hi Everyone!

Thank you for tuning in to Tipp FM. Today, we have an exciting topic to discuss that aligns perfectly with our growing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. I’m thrilled to introduce you to Inver HVO, a groundbreaking renewable diesel fuel that’s making significant strides in reducing carbon emissions and promoting a more sustainable future.

What is  HVO?

Renewable Diesel, commonly known as hydro-treated vegetable oil or HVO, is an advanced renewable diesel fuel. Derived from 100% renewable waste streams through processes called hydro-treatment and isomerisation, HVO stands out as a recognised BioFuel. This innovative fuel meets the requirements of EN15940:2017 Class A and ASTM D975 standards, ensuring it’s of the highest quality.

Why Choose  HVO?

  1. Environmental Impact:
    • Significant CO2 Reduction: One of the most compelling reasons to switch to Inver HVO is its potential to dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions. For every 1,000 litres of diesel consumed, about 3.6 tonnes of greenhouse gas CO2 are produced. In stark contrast, the same amount of HVO produces only 0.195 tonnes of CO2, cutting emissions by approximately 90%.
    • Sustainable Sourcing: HVO is manufactured from 100% waste feedstocks, which means it doesn’t contribute to environmental degradation, deforestation, or disruption of natural ecosystems.
  2. Versatility and Compatibility:
    • Transport: HVO can be used in most diesel vehicles without any modifications. It can be blended with conventional diesel to meet EN 590 specifications or used as a 100% renewable replacement.
    • Electricity Generation: This fuel is a perfect renewable substitute for gasoil in mobile or backup electricity generators. Its ease of storage and prompt supply make it highly reliable for on-demand power needs.
    • Industrial Use: HVO is also suitable for various industrial applications, replacing traditional gasoil or fuel oils. It’s simple to supply, transport, and store, making the transition to renewable energy seamless.
  3. High-Quality Standards:
    • Lab Certified and Independently Tested: Each batch of HVO is rigorously tested at certified laboratories and independently surveyed for quality assurance. This meticulous testing ensures that every litre of HVO meets EU and Irish specifications.
    • Certified Quality: provides Certificates of Quality for each cargo, affirming that the fuels meet stringent standards and offering peace of mind to consumers.

OEM Approvals and Usage:

HVO has received a wide range of OEM approvals for use in modern diesel engines and off-road machinery. However, it’s always advisable for customers to consult their OEM suppliers before transitioning to HVO to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

Why Now?

Climate change is an urgent global challenge, and the energy sector plays a crucial role in driving the transition to sustainable practices. By adopting HVO, we can lead the way in reducing our carbon footprint and embracing a more sustainable future. This change is not just necessary; it’s inevitable. As we move towards greener alternatives, why not take the first step with a fuel that offers simplicity, efficiency, and substantial environmental benefits?

HVO is more than just a fuel; it’s a commitment to a cleaner, greener future. Whether you’re in transport, power generation, or industrial operations, HVO provides a reliable, high-quality, and environmentally friendly solution. Let’s lead the way towards sustainability with Inver HVO.

Thank you for joining us today. If you have any questions or need more information about  HVO, feel free to reach out. Together, we can make a significant impact on our environment.
